Sher Afzal Marwat met with Imran Khan today in Adiala Jail. He announced his return to the party’s activities and mentioned that Khan has entrusted him with the responsibility of the August 22 rally. Marwat said, I have forgiven all those who have wronged me, and I will not accuse any party leader from now on. Imran Khan showed me great respect today; he hugged me and instructed me to visit again from time to time.
A reporter asked him if he had officially re-joined the party. He responded that the notification issued against him, which claimed he was expelled from the party, was false. He clarified that only Imran Khan could remove him from the party.
