According to Reuters, Sheikh Hasina’s son and advisor said that she did not resigned before fleeing the country. His son further said, the President dissolved the parliament after talking with the army chief, although the Prime Minister did not resigned, this decision can be challenged in the court.
He said, “Awami League is going to participate in the coming elections and will come in power, if not then opposition, either way is fine”.
Reported asked him, if he would be the next candiate for the PM seat by Awami League in the up-coming elections he said “My mother was going to resigned after this term anyway, if party wants me to be then i will definitely consider it”.
He further said “The threat of arrest never scared my mother.”
