According to the ISPR, security forces repelled the attack on Bannu Cantonment on 15 July, which led to the detonation of the explosive vehicle against the Bannu Cantonment wall by terrorist who wanted to enter the Bannu Cantt. All the terrorists who planned this attack were killed, and 8 personnel were martyred in this operation.
ISPR further stated that this attack was planned by the Gul Bahadur group, which operates these activities from Afghanistan. ISPR urged Afghanistan to take strict measures against those who are targeting Pakistan.
