On Saturday, an Additional District and Sessions Court directed the release of Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife Bushra Bibi in the iddat case. Judge Afzal Majoka granted the release of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, provided there are no other pending cases against them. Additionally, he also dismissed the plea from the medical board.
Earlier, a district and sessions court in Islamabad rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi pleas seeking suspension of their sentences in the iddat case.
About Marriage:
Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, have been sentenced to seven years in prison in the controversial iddat case. Judge Qudratullah delivered the verdict in the nikah case, which was deemed “un-Islamic.” The court imposed a fine of Rs 500,000 each on Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi as part of the sentence.
