North Korea to Open Its Borders for Foreign Tourists for the First Time Since COVID-19 Pandemic
North Korea is going to reopen its borders for tourism after almost four years. During the COVID pandemic, North Korea closed its borders in early 2020. But now, many tourist companies are announcing on social media that, North Korea will reopen its borders in December 2024.
Primarily, it is opening a city first in northeastern area, Samjiyon. However, it is highly predicted that, government will allow tourism to the rest of country too.
