Wholesalers and grocers are protesting nation wide against the withholding tax being imposed in 2024 financial budgets. In this strike, Grain markets, Wholesalers and grocers will close their shops and will protest from 31 July to 02 August.
This protest came after the FBR introduced Statutory Regulatory Order (SRO) under the Tajir-Dost Scheme. President of all pakistan Anjumn-e-Tajiran, Ajmal Baloch has expressed strong opposition against this and has warned that if this order is not withdrawn immediately then the nationwide protest will continue.
