PTI was set to hold their rally on 22-August at Tarnol, Islamabad. But, due to ongoing protests by religious parties in Islamabad, the commissioner of Islamabad cancelled the NOC of the PTI’s rally. However, PTI’s leaders were saying they would hold the rally no matter what happened.
But, moments later, Azam Khan Swati, a leader from PTI, announced that the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, has instructed that party will not hold any rally to give respect to the Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nabuwwat protest. Later, authorities also gave permission to the PTI to hold a peaceful protest with about 40 conditions on 8 September.
