Gunmen attack school van in Attock, Punjab. 2 children dead, 4 injured.

Rescue officials report that teams have transferred the injured and deceased to the hospital. The affected children are between 10 and 12 years old. The assailants fled after the shooting.

Police authorities state that a team has arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and begun an investigation. The area has been cordoned off. The motive behind the incident remains unknown.

Subsequently, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the school van shooting in Attock and requested a report from the Rawalpindi Commissioner. Expressing deep sorrow over the death of two female students, she has instructed that the best medical facilities be provided to those injured in the shooting.
