Regrettably, DSP Ali Raza, an officer of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), was fatally shot near the Karimabad area of Karachi. According to reports, unidentified armed individuals riding a motorcycle targeted and killed DSP Ali Raza.
The assailants shot him in the head, resulting in his immediate death. Following the attack, a significant police presence was deployed to the scene to secure the area and gather evidence.
Additionally, Provincial Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Linjar has instructed for swift action. And to apprehend those responsible for the attack. And has requested a detailed report from the DIG CTD and SSP Central.
He also used to be a good friend of Aslam Chaudhry, ex-policemen who was also killed, and also took part in many operations with him against terrorists.
