On Saturday, almost 40 bombs were fired from the Lebanese territory by Hammas. Several from these were projectiled by Israel’s air defense system and were burst in the Golan Height’s area Majdal Shams.
Golan heights is a Israel controlled region. They took it from Syria in 1967 war of middle east. Israel annexed it in 1981.
Israeli Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant, visited the site and said this attack a “Terrible Tragedy”. He further said that “Hammas is responsible for it and they will pay the price”. However, Hammas has denied the responsibility totally and said that the rockets were fired on Israel, Israel dome system projectiled the rocket and the rocket get bursted in Golan Heights.
After this attack, Israel attacked multiple areas of Lebanon, mainly targeting the areas controlled by Hammas. US has also showed its response on it. Antoy Blinken said “I emphasized rights to self defense and to protect its citizen but they will also do not want to see the conflict escalate. We do not want it to spread”.
France and Belgium has instructed its citizens to leave Lebanon immediately. Experts are saying that this tension will escalate.
