Iran has attacked Israel with a heavy barrage of missile strikes. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) stated that “in response to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Nilforooshan will target the heart of the occupying territory. If the Zionist regime responds to Iran, it will face crushing attacks”.
Israel’s Iron Dome defense system and other systems failed badly to intercept the ballistic missiles fired by Iran. Reportedly, Iran has launched more than 400 missiles. Almost all major cities in Israel are being targeted in this attack.
Constant sirens are sounding in Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Haifa, West Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. Israel has urgently closed all airfields and canceled all flights. Many local reports are claiming the death of almost 15 Israelis in this attack.
The Iranian mission to the UN stated that its missile attack on Israel was a justified response to what it describes as the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime, which included targeting Iranian citizens and interests while violating Iran’s sovereignty.
