In today’s session of the cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister of Pakistan spoke about the escalating terrorist activities in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which have resulted in numerous civilian and security personnel casualties. He attributed these attacks to the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operating from Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan has not only informed Afghanistan about these cross-border terrorist activities but has also taken effective measures against the perpetrators. He stated unequivocally, “There will be no negotiations with enemies of the state. Terrorists aim to create a rift between Pakistan and China, but there is no place for them here. The time has come to eradicate this terrorism completely. The sacrifices made in this regard will not go in vain, and all necessary resources will be provided to combat this menace.”
He highlighted the unwavering commitment of the Army Chief and soldiers in the fight against terrorism, stating that the entire nation stands united in this cause. The Prime Minister warned that terrorists seeking to destabilize Pakistan and hinder Balochistan’s development would not succeed. He announced plans to visit Balochistan soon to assess the situation and emphasized the importance of recognizing the enemy’s nefarious designs.
Addressing the possibility of dialogue, the Prime Minister clarified, “While we are open to discussions with those in Balochistan who accept Pakistan’s constitution and flag, there can be no talks or leniency towards those who are enemies in the guise of friends. This is a clear message without any ambiguity.”
