State media and officials are claiming that the people who were killed in Mousakhel were ordinary Punjabi civilians, while BLA and other Baloch sources claimed that they were members of armed forces in civilian dress. However, in both cases, the attack that was made on the bus and trucks is unjustifiable and is barbaric.
Till now, many people have died and been injured. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the attack by BLA on the bus.
Railway Explosion in Bolan, Balochistan.
A blast on a railway bridge in the Dozan area of Bolan, Balochistan, has resulted in at least one fatality and multiple injuries. The incident, which occurred overnight, has led to the suspension of train services in the region.
Chief minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti said in his tweet “The pursuit of terrorists who martyred innocent and guiltless individuals after checking their identity cards, having made them disembark from buses in the darkness of night in the Musa Khel area of Balochistan, is ongoing. The law will take its course against those involved in the martyrdom of these innocent, guiltless people. I extend my condolences to the families of the oppressed martyrs and pray for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased.”
An attack on a checkpoint in Kalat has resulted in injuries to two officials. The Assistant Commissioner of Kalat, Aftab Ahmed, and a member of the Levies force were wounded during an armed confrontation.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Kalat reported that the situation unfolded when unknown armed individuals initiated an assault on the checkpoint. This action prompted a firefight between the assailants and the Levies personnel stationed at the post.
