The Election Commission has decided to follow the judgment issued by the Supreme Court last week regarding reserved seats.
An important meeting was held at the Election Commission of Pakistan regarding the reserved seats case, in light of the verdict from the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In the meeting, it was decided that the Election Commission of Pakistan will follow the judgment given by the Supreme Court of Pakistan last week. They will allow PTI to obtain the reserved seats in the Parliament.
The Election Commissioner has strictly instructed the legal team that if any error or obstacle is faced during the implementation of the judgement then, it should be rectified immediately, and the Supreme Court should be approached for further guidance as soon as possible.
