The Islamabad High Court, under the leadership of Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzaib, issued an order on Monday for the release of Sanam Javed, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporter. This decision followed a series of arrests and subsequent detentions. The court also directed the police not to detain Sanam Javed in any other cases until Thursday.
She was presented before the IHC by the police, having been implicated in various incidents dating back to May 9. The court granted her permission to return home and requested detailed records of all cases involving her. Additionally, the IHC instructed the police to provide a comprehensive one-year summary of charges against the PTI activist.
