Magistrate Malik Imran from the session court in Islamabad has decided to drop the case against Sanam Javed. Sanam Javed, known for her affiliation with PTI, was apprehended by a team from FIA in Gujranwala and accused under cybercrime legislation.
The charges originated from a tweet on May 9th, where she allegedly urged individuals to gather at the Corps Commander House. The FIA Cyber Crime Cell claimed that the PTI activist made ‘provocative’ comments on May 9th, inciting people to come forward and ‘attack’ the Jinnah House.
