According to various sources, the Pakistan Flour Mills Association has postponed their strike after talks with the government. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has agreed to waive withholding tax on flour mills. The government committee has summoned the Flour Mills Association on Thursday to discuss the abolition of the tax. Asim Raza, Chairman of the Flour Mills Association, announced the postponement of the strike, stating, “After a notified decision by the government, we will completely call off our strike.”
